*Letter to clients about upcoming Closure*
Thank you everyone, for welcoming us into your community and for celebrating more than eight wonderful years with us. It has been an honor and a privilege to care for your beloved pets and farm animals, and we are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in us.
Sadly, we will be closing our doors as a full-service general practice veterinary facility at the end of October. The closure is planned for at least 2 months through the end of the year to allow time for restructuring and remodeling.
After more than 20 years practicing veterinary medicine, I have made the difficult decision to step back from full-time general practice and take some time to explore alternative part-time options for the future. I’ve realized that I need to make some changes to the large amount of time I dedicate to work. Many of you can attest to this through my late night call backs and weekend bloodwork discussions. I care deeply about my job and take my responsibilities seriously, but my family is just as important to me. My children are young, and this is a stage of their lives that I don’t want to miss. There are school activities, important moments, everyday challenges, and simply time together that I want to be available.
We are committed to helping our clients and patients through this transition. The week before Thanksgiving, we will be hosting an injection clinic to help those who need vaccine boosters, Librela injections, Cytopoint, and other routine injectable medications. Medication pickup will also be available.

We will also keep you informed about where Dr. Jackie lands and whether she will be able to continue providing some large-animal services.
This time is needed to re-evaluate and find a more part time option that will still help take care of your cherished family members. We are incredibly thankful for the friendships, memories, and relationships we have built over the past eight years. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your families and for trusting us with the animals you love.

Any plans for the future will be very part time vs. our full week currently. We recommend that you get established at a nearby clinic to make sure you have coverage to help take care of your loved ones.

Pets with Chronic medication needs:
Our online store: https://nosetotailvet.myvetstoreonline.pharmacy/shop will be available for your pets medical needs throughout this time. If you prefer, we can order in a bulk supply of certain medications to dispense to help cover your pet over the next couple months. Please email us at nttah433@gmail.com for your order request. Med and food pickups will be also available at the injection clinic.
Refilling medications/Preventatives:
Preventatives can be prescribed for a full year after the date of last medical services of that pet. We will authorized refills for that period. Certain medications that need bloodwork monitoring might not be refillable for that full year period, but we will authorize the correct amount to keep you covered.
Injection needs:
Our first injection clinic will be hosted 3 weeks after closing to help with those pets that need Vaccine updates, Librela, Cytopoint, and DepoMedrol. This will be the week prior to thanksgiving, see our website for final details. You will need to register for that date via email.
Medical needs:
we can email over your pets records to an alternative facility to help cover your care needs. Email us and let us know where you would like them sent.
I will still be covering the emails during the down time, can respond to refills and record requests during this period.
Exams: We will be trying to fit patients in that need an exam update for medication refills before that final day in October. Please let us know if it is an exam needed just for medication refills, so we can schedule accordingly. We will still be seeing other patients for concerns and illnesses at this time.
Large Animal/Farms:
If she has been to your farm or seen one of your farm animals in the past year, Dr. Jackie can authorize certain medications for you to have on your farm to help with emergencies/illnesses. You can email us what your needs are and we will try and accommodate your requests.
